Bluegill Jaws

Have you noticed that the blue gills change color if you turn on the light? Mine do, and they do it pretty quickly.

Yea they do and the one makes himself almost black most the time except when fed then he tuns green with a little bit of striping. They are fascinating and very responsive fish. When they see me they come to the glass (to beg for worms I think)

cool, the darker fish won, lol! i have a largemouth bass in my fish tank, and when i get him a bigger one i'm going to put in a bluegill, crappie, and a small bass, and probably another crappie. good stuff, five stars.

Thanks for responding. Mine are still shy around me, I've only had them for two weeks. The pond I caught them out of is pretty murky. Hopefully they calm down in another week or so. I'm going to go catch some minnows out of the pond to feed them.
