My Peugeot 307 Griffe is less than 6 months old. It has been to Peugeot authorized dealers more than 5 times (average of once or more times per month). The car just CANNOT go straight on the road. It could not be more anoying and sometimes even dangerous. In addition, the engine had to be open in order to fix a hydraulic issue. Then, after a week on vacation, I turn the key for a brunch on a sunny Sunday and the car would choke several times as if the engine would fall on the floor but did not start. The last time the car came out of the authorized dealer, something was loosen on the front wheel and keeps making noises and more noises. The brake lights already burned once. The car is 7,000 km old. It stays in the grage at home and at work. I had not heard about the issues of having a Peugeot until I started telling friends what's happening to me. All of them, in Brazil, do not advise buying a Peugeot. I do not think it is fair to sell this car to a friend or someone on the streets given this person will have an issue with the car and will loose nights of sleep. Not to mention I was wripped off by Banco PSA in the rate the car was financed (my fault not to have researched better - 1.43%pm)). I am in touch with Peugeot of Brazil, who does not seem to be given the proper attention to my case. I want either my money back or a new car, which I will sell, given I have completely lost confidence in the the car. I have written a letter to the president of Peugeot of Brazil, explaning it all, but did not even receive a response to my email from him or his assistant. I am very irritated by this disrespect to a customer of a $40,000 car. Maybe, Peugeot of Brazil does not think the brazilian customers deserve the same rights of the French customers. Should I have bought a Renault, a VW, a Ford? is Peugeot prepared to be in Brazil?

  • This car is best!

  • @StutteriBirkegaarden even if I'm french, I say you're right !

  • what can i say its made in france = cheap shit ... German cars = THUMS UP

  • I hope this isn't the 1.6 hDI engine cause it's well known for it's caprices :S the best 307 engine is the 2L block HDI 90hp but it is a bit slow for some. Never had any pbs with my 307 except a broken thermostat cover by 97000kms.

  • Same situation i had with mine Citroen

    Buy VW...

    My Advice

  • i own one thats 4 1/2 years old and 4 of those ive owned it and apart from normal wear i have had no problems with mine i think he must be pissed

  • Sorry.. I own a 307 2.0 HDI, 2004. I bought the car in 2005 with 40000kms. Now it has run over 132000kms without ANY problems. Just the normal intervals at the Peugeot dealer. NO PROBLEMO!

  • I have a 2 and half years old Peugeot 307 1.6 HDI, 110 PS. The only problem is with the head lights, which burn from 3 in 3 months. But it's ok with anything else. Good car, very low fuel consumption, average is 5,5 l/100 km, only in town.

  • Peugeot is no good car.

I own a peugeot myself and that car

spends more time in the repair shop than on the street.

The worst car that I've ever had.

Will never buy a peugeot again.

  • are you drunk or just a turkish idiot???

    hahahaaaaaa....
