  • To add to the top two comments, NO they should've got rid of Hummer, Saab, and GMC ONLY. Saab sucks, and no one likes a truck brand.

  • @95oldsaurora I believe I already posted it here, but I got a '99, as my first car, love it like heck. Pontiac still made good cars, so I don't think it should've gone, but Saturn... oh boy... at the time when everyone says "BUY AMERICAN", they got rid of AMERICAN car companies, and kept foriegn ones. BAD IDEA FOR MARKETING. (Thus, they went bankrupt). Keep Olds, don't go bankrupt, keep pontiac, don't go bankrupt, keep both, don't go bankrupt, keep only saturn, go bankrupt and die.

  • -- from the oil-pan's age, and the fact that the seals are also old, the car runs like it was 99.99999999% brand new. (which is the newness of any car off the show-room floor). Speedometer goes up to 140MPH, (which I also heard was about the range of a police-car's speed, (150-160MPH), I don't think anyone's gotten one up to that speed yet though. Anyways, it's pretty fuel efficent, (if you drive a cirtain way, which I don't drive that way, nor do I think anyone else does). I like it, a lot. :)

  • -- cleaned the spare tire/wheel and the jack and everything. I vacuumed the entire car's interior, cleaned the windows, and waxed the car. Just around the end of last year though, I ran the front-drivers'-side quarter-pannel into the garage door track, (which although it fixed the door and rail along with their operation), it made a foot-ball size dent in the car, which my dad and I fixed. Still probably needs a couple areas of touch-up, but oh well. Great car. Even with the oil-pan leaking --

  • -- (Because the original agreement in Elemantary School I made with my dad, was that when he got a new car, or if he got my mom's car and my mom got a new car, that I would get the Aurora;) therefore, when he got a new car, around September 2011, when I was 14, and didn't yet start drivers' ed part-1, I got the Aurora, and it's my first car, and the first day I had it, I cleaned it all over, inside, outside, top bottom, chassis, engine area, (literally), and it looked almost brand new. I even --

  • My dad bought a 1999 Oldsmobile Aurora (built in September 1998), that was "maroon", (color tag also says "Maroon") when I was still in Elementry School, around first or second grade. I got my learners' permit last year, (I'm 16 now,) and I told my mom and dad (or implied it when telling them), that either I was going to drive that car, or they could drive me around for the rest of my life. --

  • @themamagoatshow yes. there is two engine options. v6 v8. i had a v8 but i dont have an aurora anymore.

  • i love the olds aurora with an optional sunroof.
