Both the Arburo and De Dubbele Biphone are sounding fantastic! I really would like to go along on a concert evening at Utrecht one day!

Did they also play the 39er Ruth ant the Shuyt that evening?

Yes, all the organs in the dance hall always play on every concert evening, I just wasn't there then, as it all happens simultaneously. I was in the street organ room.

...but somebody should film the Ruth, the Shuyt and the Wilhelm Bruder Söhne! ;o) The Concertavonds seem to be a great event!

They are great fun, but they're also very crowded (could be considered positive of course), and there's a fixed schedule as to which instruments play at what times. If there's two instruments playing at the same time, you can't hear both (unless someone leaves the door open). There's actually four German (fairground) organs in the museum, not counting De Schuyt and the Aalster Gavioli.

Hee thijs,

De mars op de dubbele biphone is de spaanse ruiter mars en daarna komt de flierefluiter serenade.
