@ToxicEevee Yes double axle, and thank you! That's awesome. It's challenging to be the only lefty to be sure.... everyone else is skating toward you!! lol Good luck =)

Nice recovery on the (double?) axel 8D
Omg I am the ONLY lefty spinner in my class XD It's weird because I am right-handed C:

I'm an adult skater, skating ISI Freestyle 1. It was determined tonight that skating leftie for me is the better direction, as I spin MUCH easier to the right. I'm very lucky to have a coach that can teach in either direction. However, I'm still planning on working on elements to the right, just for the added challenge, as it doesn't always feel THAT weird to me. Did you find your skating classes extra difficult because of being a left-y skater?

@jfluter Wow, skating in both directions, that's ambitious! Good for you =) Um, I don't remember classes much to be honest. I stopped doing them when I was about 9 and started doing private lessons. It is harder to be a lefty on most sessions though because you are mostly going into oncoming traffic =/

@stsk8stepally Yeah, I've noticed that, especially at crowded public skate sessions. When I'm at the freestyle sessions, it's usually not as much of a problem, since it's easier for me to find a spot that's away from other skaters to work on stuff.

@jfluter Freestyle sessions are certainly easier than public sessions by far phew!
