@ravens242424 I like the double file restarts, but what I don't like is the leader picking the prefered line on the restart. It may be good to start the race that way so there's a clean start, especially since it's the flagman who starts the race, but on restarts, picking the prefered line AND getting to restart the race? Ehh...... IDK about that one. I think the leader should get to restart the race, but it should be the classical leader inside, second place outside.
I agree with Kurt about these double file restarts. Nascar is taking pointers from race fans r u serious this shit is stupid! On almost all tracks there is a preferred line. Lets just say the bottom is the best lane. If you were 2nd coming out of the pits your going to be lucky if you have any shot of winning at all and if its a short track forget it you won't have any, tuck in somewhere about 10th if your lucky. Its just fucking stupid thanks Nascar for ruining a great racing serious you suck!
@snackspacks Don't count your chickens before they hatch bucky. There's still 6 races left, and ANYTHING can and will happen. My guy, Jeff Gordon might be out of it as of now, but Carl Edwards is finishing consistently. Besides, those were just 2 good finishes. I'm still not impressed. Dover's a Jimmie Johnson track, and Kansas was just a good day for him, but it was ONE good day. He's gotta get 6 more.
@DigitalAlpine The only "truth" that I've seen is NASCAR officials kissing Jimmie Johnson's ass. And you KNOW I'm right when I say that Jimmie didn't beat everyone after 36 races, meaning the whole season, meaning 3 of his championships would've never existed if it wasn't for the chase. Now it's hitting him back, and yeah, it's early, but they're still signs. If it wasn't for the chase, Jeff Gordon would be a six-time champ, and Carl Edwards and Kevin Harvick would each have championships.
And by the way, your opinion means a hell of a lot less when you argue points systems... The Chase system is mathematically more difficult as proven by the results... if it was so easy to win compared to the old system, why have so few been able to do it? 18 drivers have failed to win in the past 5 years and only 1 has succeeded. Do the math.
As for beating everyone after 36 races, that logic only applies if there was a trophy for doing so. Once the chase began, there'd be no incentive for winning for 36 races, only getting comfortably in the chase and preparing for the final 10. For those ten races, there's no laying back and riding with a comfortable points lead accumulated over 26 races; You bring your best game and try not to fuck up, cuzz you know there's little to no margin for error.
Because I mistakenly thought 1 of the above posts was from you but I see it wasn't now. Feel free to msg me what was said if u feel a need to and I'll finish shoving that 'truth' down your throat. I've argued reality with far smarter people than you. No matter what u say, you'd still have to argue against the level of todays competition with sum1 who actually DROVE back in the old days- Cale Yarborough.
@DigitalAlpine Why'd you delete your comment? Truth hurt? And by 0 for 2, I meant good races, not necessarily wins. Jimmie had sucky races, and Jimmie is a joke 'cause yeah, maybe he's won 50 races, and maybe he's smart, but maybe he also has a crew chief with an IQ over 500, and maybe he also is the guy who won THE CHASE. He didn't beat everyone after 36 races 5 times, he only did that twice. He beat them after TEN races 5 times.
@ravens242424 Get over it. If you dont like it dont watch it. No one will miss you
