Question, if an indestructible creature of 5/5 blocks, well say Sickle Ripper, obviously Sickle Ripper dies, but does the indestructible still accumulate those counters, being a 3/3 indestructible? I don't see why it wouldn't accumulate those counters unless something said otherwise, but let's say nothing did, he would be a 3/3 then correct?

@SmashBro415 Yeah infect is wither but amplified even further, kind of like upgrading new software that outdates old software. Because now if you hit an opponent directly you're giving them poison counters, and even worse if you have something that allows proliferate, well you're well on your way to putting your opponent in an early grave. New Phyrexia cards with infect, proliferate, and Phyrexian mana cost conversions are just sheer annhilation.... I love it, lol.

Step aside, Wither! Infect is the way to go!

... And then came Infect. I wonder if Phyrexians scouted Shadowmoor?.

Yes it does because wither's dmg is in -1/-1 counters it would become a X/0 and would die. Indestructible only negates lethal damage and destroy effects. because they are counters and do not go away it dies.
