I'm confused. Instead of using the 240mahr lipos, why not just make a small Y harness (available for under $2.00) and use two of the 160mahr batteries available for $1.50 or less or one of the new "nano" lipos. The two would give you a total of 320mahr for 33% longer flights - more burst current - and weight would be the same. This way you would not need to modify the frame or do battery surgery.

Well it's all about personal preferences right? A buddy showed me this mod and I liked it.... Here's a great idea....Your idea sounds good too.. try it out and lets see how she flies..... post a video when you finish so we can all see the final outcome... thanks......

Elias? whose this Elias guy?? Are those better than the standard batteries for the mSR? O and one more question- why a 6 channel controller? The mSR has only 4 right?

@theshepard22 Elias is an online friend of mine and between the two of us back and forth started doing mods to the MSR....He's from Australia ..... The Batteries are 240mAh compared to the 110mAh stock batteries so Yes they're better .... longer flight times but they are heavier The Radio.... It's not so much the channels of the radio... Since is a 2.4gHz radio and has 10 model memory I have the Blade MSR, eSky Belt CP, and my Flasher 250 on the same radio.....

@theshepard22
Also about the Radio it's all about Tweakability!!!! I can change the Expo Settings ... Throttle curves and also add Swash Mixes to get the little bird to fly better, more responsive the way I like it etc etc....
