My tune "Yardbush" with NYC scene accompaniment. This was shot in the first beautiful day this spring, March 2010. I started in Brooklyn and popped out of the subway station in the East Village. From there, I walked into Union Square, through the Farmer's Market, and up Park Ave.

  • iMovie does this for you. Just drag and drop or import your audio file into the project.

  • Love your video and bass playing! Can you please share how do you put the great sounding track and video together? What programs and gadgets did you use?

    Thanks!

  • @pastoria3 thank you for your kind words. I really had a good time creating this, and it was super easy. I receorded the music with Apple Logic, filmed with a simple HD video camera, loaded it to iMovie, chopped it all up, removed the camera audio, then replaced with the logic track. ...then tweeked it just a bit more. thanks again!

  • Great man, really like this! Fresh! I've got an L1000 too, 1981, I guess your playing nearer the bridge, what switching and eq are you using on the bass? Also what strings please? Love your tone. Good vid as well. Cheers!

  • @morzyman thank you for listening/watching. I believe I have the switch in the middle position, so it's neither super boomy or articulate. i think i has both tone knobs about half way. - D'Addario heavies.

  • where is the bass? ....get a life - nig**!

  • @ImFromGermany2 you can't hear the bass?

  • @freshnyc

Thanks for telling me. But how did you combine them into one file and load it on youtube? :)

  • Man this was a great time.

Been to NY once in OcT 1984 for 5 days of roaming the city. This was sort of a second trip. Completely enjoyed the 'time spent'. Cheers.

  • Congrats! I can really hear the difference flats make on this kind of bass.

Love your articulation. I am working on that kind of thing now. Very tough!

  • @freshnyc Ok great, I'm gonna get me some flatwounds (and a few years practice!). Thanks for replying.
