Thats circular logic. Why is crime higher in Africa? Because blacks have violent genes!!! How do you know they have violent genes? Well just look at the crime rate!!! Ridiculous.

@duckdown1993 Even If sub-Saharan Africa Had Better Surveillance, Law Enforcement, And Legal Systems Which They Don't For A Variety Of Reasons That Have To Do With Their Genetic Makeup (Intelligence Being One), They'd Still Have Higher Rates Of Violence Than Europe (Particularly Northern And Western Europe) Because They Have A Higher Population Average Of Males With Violent Dispositions (Their National Bell Curves For Violent Dispositions Would Be Skewed To The Violent Side).

@duckdown1993 The Social Environment That Made Life More Difficult For Violent Males Was Stronger In Europe (Specifically Western And Northern Europe) Than It Was In sub-Saharan Africa. So These Environmental Factors Acted As The Selective Pressures That Selected Against Violent Genes In Europe While The Social Environment (Environmental Factors) In sub-Saharan Africa Selected For Violent Genes. Hence The Differences In Tendency To Violence In Both Populations Today.

@duckdown1993 So If An Individual Is Born With Genes That Predispose Him To Violent Behavior And He's Raised In A Violent Environment He'll Most Likely Be Violent (Hell, Even If He Isn't Raised In A Violent Environment, But Has Genes That Make Him Inclined To Violence He'll Be Violent).

Social pressure is not a selective pressure. There's no barrier in place that prevents people with mild-high aggression from reproducing. Therefore I think the propensity for violence is the same in Europe as it is in Africa - Its just Europe has police forces, surveillance, etc that work to curtail those behaviors. As for favoring those of the same race you're wrong too - most Latin American geneologies are mixtures of people from entirely different continents

@duckdown1993 A Gene Can Become Weeded Out After A Few Generations Quite Easily If The People That Possess The Gene (Due To Whatever Selective Pressure) Are Selected Against And Thus Experience Lesser Reproductive Success. In Terms Of The Bias You Speak Of, Whites, Blacks, And People Of All Ethnic Backgrounds Continue To Favor Those That Are More Genetically Similar To Them To This Day (Even In Multicultural Societies Like The U.S). It's To Their Genetic Advantage To Do So.

I think what you're assuming is that once a gene becomes dominant in a population it can easily be weeded out. That clearly isn't the case. For instance, one thing Taylor LOVES to harp on continuously is how whites trust whites more, blacks trust blacks more, etc. Whatever compells people to behave this way probably has a genetic basis but despite the fact that we live in a multicultural world this disposition isn't exactly dissapearing now is it?

They Were Founded By The Vikings (A Historically Violent People) But Over Centuries They Became Less Violent Due To Changes In Their Culture And Social Environment. An Agrarian Lifestyle (Farming) Led To A More Settled, Less Nomadic Way Of Life Which In Turn Demanded A More Civil Society. So To Appease This Demand, Violent Males (And Their Genes) Who Would Be Economic And Social Burdens Were Slowly But Surely Culled From The Population.
