  • I cannot have enough of this video. Sublime!

  • Her problem is that her German is too bad to recognize. She takes too much care of her high notes but forgets her pronunciation.... Bad bad bad. I can't believe it was recorded in Semperoper!!

  • It's really too bad if what kasupni says is true, and if the audience couldn't hear her singing. She really is sublime.

  • One of the organizers/promoters of those operas was Japan Arts Corporation (to which Maki Mori belongs). Naturally, she was on the stage as Sophie. I was at NHK Hall on 25th. Maki Mori is a good singer, however her voice was small to sing with an orchestra. I was almost unable to hear her lyrics. I remember there was a booing from the audience. She just looked as if she was trying to sing. If it is a video like this, it will be OK because her voice is recorded through some microphones.

  • This was filmed on either November 23 or 25, 2007 in NHK Hall (in Tokyo) and broadcast nationwide in Japan. Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden, Fabio Luisi and some renowned singers got invited to Japan and held 9 performances (including Der Rosenkavalier, Tannhäuser and Salome) in and around Tokyo. This video is an extract from one of those performances.

  • vielen Dank!

  • I love this piece...:) gänsehaut ... ghoos bumps
