@mattscott0 sorry dude, but fuck bigwig, pennywise and belvedere in comparison to AWS. great bands in their own right, who fell off and never tried to write anything bigger than themselves. Every next AWS album pushes the boundaries of where they came from last and EVERY track on career suicide is perfect. none of the bands you mentioned own an album without a skipless track.

but then you could argue that you should be listening to guns and roses or megadeth which have infintely better musicians than AWS, what i like about AWS, is that they have a transition between the two, yes they are talented and write great riffs, but they have those catchy choruses and breakdowns as well...

the bassguitarist and the guitarists are waaaaaaay better than from pennywise. dont get me wrong, i like pennywise. but AWS >> pennywise instrumental with no doubt.

yeah there has been some great albums from melodic hardcore bands recently, not in terms of the classic skate bands like pennywise and nofx but say: bigwig-reclamation, this is a standoff(ex-belvedere)-be excited, no trigger, phinius gage-Seek out your foes..., ignite-our darkest days, and finally to a lesser extent seeing as it is 3 years old but potemkin city limits by propagandhi is an incredible and very well-crafted album, but saying this career suicide is badass!

all those bands you've mentioned above are listed as some of my all time fave groups... unfortunately, there have been no new albums from their corners recently (RIP belvedere)... and i suppose i should've ended my comment with IMO... or something to that effect... but at least you understand where i'm coming from...
