Sadly, I discovered Martin's wonderful posts through Teresa's goodbye video. It's really touching that you and Martin were able to get a little acquainted.
Thank you, for your video, please tell us more, I might have to be in the same situation that you lived in the 40's, if all hell breaks loose in N.Korea, and it would be help full to learn something about the REAL past.
This is where Youtube can be interesting and useful. We need to hear more from these heros. The internet can preserve the meaning of their sacrifice for centuries.
I did have the deep pleasure of teaching my late father how to use a computer... but that was before UTube was around. My Dad passed in 2003. He was born 1/1/21 and was on one of those landing crafts on Omaha Beach for D-Day. I am so proud to be his daughter... you have no idea... I am so glad you guys out there are sharing... you have valueable wisdom to impart... Thank you from the bottom of my heart.... Cynthia
Wow, I feel like I fell into a time warp. My uncle was in England before DDay. He was with Patton's army. I'm 49, so have no memories of the war, but this stuff is great. Wonderful oral history. Is someone organizing it all?
you seem like a top bloke!! xx
