I live near Portland, and I've been a fan of chelsea's column in the Oregonian forever...first thing I pull from the paper each Sunday! Heartsick was GREAT...what a sick, twisted love letter to the city of Portland. As I read, I'd squeal with delight and shout to hubby and kids stuff like "awesome, they just found a dead body on the Sauvie Island nudie beach!!" I've pre-ordered Sweetheart, and can't wait to see where the dead bodies will surface this time!!

Red Dragon(which was awsome) was the only other thrille i had read apart from Heartsick-which i thoroughly enjoyed.
The image of Chelsea on the inside of her book truly scared the shit out of me. I dont know whether her publishing house did it on purpose, or what, but if they did it was genius. I still dont like to see it.
Chelsea is actually quite an attractive woman. Nothing at all like that creppy picture-Cant wait for "SWEETHEART"!!!!!!!!!!
