I had the same surgery also and still recovering i broke mine during football and was all flipped around. I not sure about you but i broke it in three places the knee the middle and the thigh. But if they touched it pre surgery it hurt so bad. I just wanted somebodies else experience.

Was your surgery to correct femoral torsion, or did you break your leg?

I had this done 10 weeks ago, well, they entered through the skin near my hip instead of my knee.
I was walking two days after the operation and am still walking now hardly any pain at all, aches when led down is all I get.
I broke both femurs, one in a clean break in two and the other communited into multiple fragments, both got nailed.

tsurucrane...i have to disagree with you,i race motocross and i shattered my left femur,torn mcl,and acl. With how demanding my sport is i was back on the bike in 3 and a half months,yes i agree with you that the screws in the hip and knee are very painful,but you just have to strive through it.

man just be thankful we have the technology today to correct this issue, if this was just 100 years ago you could never walk normal again and that'f if you were lucky enough to walk on two feet at all.

I had this done to me also i broke both my femurs in a car accident back in October .. worse pain i ever felt..
