I had the distinct honor and pleasure of designing the new font/text on the bow and stern of the Training Ship KENNEDY. It was a privilege to sailing on her maiden voyage as the Cadet Second Mate/Chief Navigation Officer. As a First Class Deck Cadet, I will miss this ship but will remember the great times I had aboard her.

Is this so Mr. Delahunt can get Ted Head's blessing to run/be next senator? An aircraft carrier was already named after JFK... I would only agree if Teddy and the ENTIRE Kennedy clan willed his/their ENTIRE estate/s to MMA. LONG LIVE THE PATRIOT STATE!!! MMA '95.

it was the name of the first training ship of the academy and had a lot more meaning to the school then the name kennedy which represnts a family that had never been a friend to the shipping industry, most of the legislation the kennedys passed hurt mariners

What would be a better name, the Enterprise? That's a Starship on a 5 year mission and was a really dumb name that had nothing to do w/ the State of MA. The Patriot State still rules! MMA "89".
