@996artichoke Penn State is a heck of a lot more than a few corrupt men. The actions of a few bad people do not set the tone for an entire university. Get your facts right, and do some research about how Penn State students, faculty, and alumni reacted to the scandal and what they're doing to raise awareness for child abuse and to support the victims. Oh, and please Google "Thon".

@996artichoke Excuse me, but HOW exactly are the staff and students horrible people? The students had absolutely NO idea that Jerry Sandusky was doing what he was doing. Penn State students were and continue to be OUTRAGED about it. The students organized prayer vigils for victims at Old Main and the Lion Shrine, alumni raised hundred of thousands of dollars for RAINN and child abuse awareness. Your immense ignorance is a horrible reflection on you, not on Penn State.

If you support ped state you support child rape bottom line i would be shamed to be near that deviant institution! Staff and students are horrible people!

Ped state will forever be tarnished dont go there or you will be a ped supporter.

Win Lose or Tie I'm a Gator till I die. But Penn State is definitely my 2nd fav team. Hearing this speech sent chills down my spine. Its nice to see that sometimes football really doesn't matter in cases like this. Don't get me wrong i love football and play for my school team but football isn't the only thing in this world. It's nice to see 2 teams that are about to go to war are praying together in Penn State's time of need

@nittanylions1000 aka: Michigan fan appreciative of NU's students etc. I very much think that was God and NU's coach. :) I think about what he prayed about that every boy on campus in his schools' colors would think about the little boys watching them at home on their tv screens. :) So sad, and it makes you realize that those little boys in PSU might respect NU players if they acted respectfully with respect to what happened to those PSU players they respected.

@nittanylions1000 Love that comment coming from a Husker fan as I told my mom what was so impressive that I found commented on facebook/youtube stuff about penn state in November is FB fans/youtube fans from Ohio/Michigan State/Michigan land that said that if ANYTHING could have been done on their part they would have done it so that NU didn't have to take the fall for those 3 teams--CONSTANTLY that was on PSU's facebook page.

RIP Joe. You were a great humanitarian to humanity, yet humanity showed its dark side to you when you were in need. This man lived in a home smaller than most of ours while making millions because he gave most of it away to the University and to the community. :o(

@dalepeff i guess idk

@555mrbucky i understand that but its kinda rude to clap while hes still praying i love the fact that they did this, but the crowd shoulda waited to clap in my opinion.
wow at least the Nebraska players had some respect and knew this was a hard time for Penn State and the victims. Everyone else makes jokes and says "boycott Penn State" or are just 100% retarded and think players and Joe Paterno committed the molestation. Yeah sure hide behind your computer screen when you do this like a real man does right. And before you make accusations why dont you actually watch the news and see what actually happened with this event. Until then show some God damn respect.

LOL the students in PSU didn't do shit , the players didn't do shit, it was the assistant coach which is a faggot. Paterno and the President didn't rape the kid but they didn't tell the authorities so I understand they had to go. People need to understand what happened and not follow the media. Attention whores.
