Are you an idiot. There are only 2 transmissions available. When I said it is not a DSG(3 times) the smart people figure out that it must be a Manual. I understand what you're saying, but if "the (uneducated) automobile world" does not realize that an automatic is a whatever-speed as well, that's their problem. It doesn't change the FACTS. I guess it's kinda a pet peeve of mine when people say "# speed" without specifying manual, auto, or whatever. Even magazine articles point this out. It's like I have hillbilly music playing in my head when I read people unable to make a discernment in their writing.

I could have just as easily said (if the transmission in question was a DSG and not the manual), "It's a 6-speed, not a manual." We all know that would not go very well, although it's just about the same statement you made, simply in the opposite case.

Once again, I'm simply pointing out your MISTAKE that the DSG is not a 6 speed. It's just that simple. I knew exactly what you meant from the beginning, and I was merely pointing out your blatant error, which a lot of people tend to make in the arrangement of that statement. In case you didn't already know... the DSG has SIX SPEEDS (plus one for reverse). You said, "It's a 6 speed not DSG." Your statement is a contradiction of terms and almost paradoxical, if that's even a word.

You failed to mention "MANUAL" in any previous statement, which is the flaw that I was pointing out in my comment. BOO YAH, PLAYA! ;)
