This video is in response to the question, "How do I get the hoop back up from my knees?" I guess the short answer is, "Depends how it got down there." I try to explain the different ways that can happen and offer solutions. I hope it makes sense

  • Video was amazing, there's just one part where my hoop always slips right before my knees and I can never get it back up, but practice makes perfect. It's just so annoying, same spot everytime, and I can't figure out what i'm doing wrong.

  • @Liquorlish Without seeing you I can't be sure but I can tell you that many, many people have a place on their legs where they lose it because they are looking down at the hoop. Try lifting from the heart, leaning back and looking up at the sky. Notice if, when the hoop starts to go down, you start to bend at the middle and lean forward also. If so, there's your problem. Really bend your knees, lean back and look up at the sky so your knees are pushing up & under the hoop. (If not, send a vid?)

  • Your videos are so nice I've just subscribed to your channel. I got the knee hooping some days ago but still cannot get it back, I'm working on it! I saw that your hoop is very thin and I think it might help, did you buy it or did you make it yourself? What materials did you use? For the moment I can only use hoops that I bought i toy stores because I live in Taiwan and still need to figure out where to find the material needed to make my own hoops or how to say that in Chinese!!

  • @fairynefertari I did make my hoop. It's easy to do. I used 100 psi (or 125 psi works too) irrigation tubing (or plumbing pipe) with gaffer tape as the wrap. The particular brand is called Silv-o-line Flexipipe and it's available at a lot of hardware and plumbing stores. I think you can buy it online from McMasters also. I'm pretty sure they ship to where you are. If you need help finding them online, drop me a line and I'll share a link. (Youtube won't let me share it here for some reason...)

  • I love the way u explain this! Still can't figure it out though :(

  • @hoopinfool21 You will get it. It took me a while too. Just be patient with yourself, try lots of different ways, take breaks in between, and know that if you keep at it, you WILL get it. It's just a matter of time. Best of luck! I hope you get it soon!
