After all the hoo-ha over the MAC 109 brush for liquid foundation... eh.

Anyway, just a little video showing how I use the MAC 109

Stage Opening Act Complexion Enhancer
Revlon ColorStay Foundation in Golden Beige
The Body Shop Nature's Minerals Foundation in Shade 03

For reference, I'm a MAC NC35

  • HEY! just to let you know i use a brush similar to this by revlon and i love it alot better that the skunk brush evry one raves about so from me you get 5 stars and also lol...i use the nody shop mineral foundation to set mines as well. oh ilove you!!! lol

  • I really need to look into those Revlon brushes! Heard a lot about them. thanks for the love :D I can feel it all the way from here!

  • what shade are you in MAC? cuz i dont know what shade to get in the color stay and my skintone is just like yours so i dont know if it would be the same?

  • I'm a MAC NC35. I've added that bit of info on the sidebar. Golden Beige would suit NC30 since it's a little light for me

  • So what was your verdict? You didn't like it too much? And also, how much was the brush?

  • The full brush review is on my blog. The link is on the sidebar. I think it's ok but not a brush I can't live without. It's $32USD

  • why do you use foundation your skin is perfect...

  • @TheJnnfrrrr Hmm. the golden beige has warm undertones to it. That's my color. It might have some yellow undertones. But the undertones I see are golden and warm. Yea, the white thing is because this foundation has SPF in it. There really isn't a "solution" other than to use a different foundation for photos. All foundations with SPF give a white cast in pics. I wouldn't use photo ready either cause that has SPF. Maybelline Superstay and Rimmel Long Lasting don't have SPF. I don't think........

  • Is that brush from the Mac brush display?

  • @smellyocheese I know you said you are NC35 in MAC, I'm an NC30 but in powder, is that the same as liquid?

  • is the golden beige for yellow undertone people? when i take flash photography it really seems to make my face look.. WHITE... is there any solution to this?

  • Yeah it works well cause it's rounded a bit at top it's sometimes hard to find sooooo if u can't find it let me know and mayb we could do a swap I'm from the bay area... Where u from? Mayb there's something u could get ur hands on that I can't u could look me up on face book (Tania Jones) stay sweet ;)
