Hey, I don'y have the Plugin, can you tell me where to get it? I'm using the PLE version of Maya.

@Ichiryu666 The PLE version of maya can't export models to other programs. So the OBJ plug-in is not included.

hi, im using windows 7 home premium, do you know where the system would be hiding the file?

@IAMTHEKENSTER Go to the folder where the.MTL file is.
Then go to the organize menu, go to folder and search options.
When the window comes up, go to view and then go down to the advanced settings section and check show hidden files and folders.

hi , maybe you can help,i did like the vid says and it still exports as an mtl file do you know why ?

@IAMTHEKENSTER The MTL file (Material Template Library) is a file that is exported with the OBJ.
You should see to files an .OBJ and a .MTL.
If only the .MTL is showing it could be that your operating system is hiding it.
What OS do you use?
