  • Hi Lizzette, don't drink them. My doctor said I could let it go flat and then drink it but that would defeat it right? It will make your pouch strech, and i know its hard but try other drinks. Take care.((HUGS)) Norma

  • Thanks. I have just said "NO" to it....lol. Thanks for responding.

  • The books I've been reading up on after surgery say you can't drink any carbonated drinks whatsoever...best ask Tom/Allison/Amiela/Fab/Dee.. I'm sure they'd know better than I do...

  • Thanks. I am so grateful for all these knowledgeable people. I feel like an idiot for not knowing.

  • I can see that. I could only take a sip at a time. I have given it up completely.

  • Boo hoo!!! oh, well.

  • Note Taken. Thanks so much.

  • I don't think a sip every now and then will hurt you. I, for one, do not like the way diet cokes feel now. I use to LOVE diet coke but now the carbonation bubbles in my throat and it feels nasty. It is a weird feeling.
