RIP NYC Street Ball Legend John Strickland

My friend, John Strickland, was found deceased in his home today, Thursday, Oct 7th, 2010 and was believed to have passed away on Monday, Oct 4th. I texted him at 11:19p on Monday night to check on him. Miss you Strick.

The popular former Halifax Rainmen forward had been working for Levingston as director of basketball development and always stayed in close contact with the owner. Unfortunately, Levingston got the call on Thursday morning that Strickland had died in his sleep at home in New York at the age of 38. His cause of death is not known at this point.
