Javed Miandad came in to bat at number 4, with the score at 39 for 2 wickets, and the required run rate had risen to 7 an over. Miandad held the innings together. In a tense finale, the last over bowled by Chetan Sharma began with 10 runs required. During the over two wickets fell.

If you ask any Pakistani who watch cricket about his Favorite Cricket moments, he/she will probably list Miandad's Last Ball Sixer in the top. Miandad received a leg side full toss from Chetan Sharma, which he hit for six over the midwicket boundary. Miandad's famous Six is still considered as one of the most historic moments in one-day cricket history and Javed became a Pakistani national hero.

PTV celebrated the occasion in a really classic way. Salma Agha sang a song Eik Bar Milo Hum Sey & it was aired on PTV in mid 80s. Bushra Ansari parodied it as Eik Chakkey Kay Javed Ko & it became an classic hit. With that song under her belt, Bushra Ansari became the Parody Queen of Pakistan. Just for the info, Bushra also parodied Musrrat Nazir's famous Mera Loong Gawacha. It was also a great classic.

Guys for all of you chipping in with the wrong dates. The date when the six was hit was exactly 18th April, 1986. I remember distinctly, it was my brother's birthday and this was the first true match I ever saw and clings to my memory and I fell in love instantly with Javed's game.

i was little when when i saw this, and it was so irritating back then, now i see the humor bit of it frm all angles, miandad six,salma agha singing style...

also guys, the only problem is our leaders,they have risen among us, we have flaws as well n do wrong, so if our leaders do it on a larger scale then we cannot just blame them..jaisay log waisay leaders...v need an honest leader or a revolution...
