As a newer horse owner and driver, and one who has not used the pad and seen many other drivers harness without the pad, does the pad really make a big difference?

Hi, I do still have Dan. I have been using him just about everyday. He will drive any place you want to go. He will stand at 4 lane intersections in left lane and wait for turn arrow. He is as good as you can get . I am asking $ 5500.00 and will trade for anything of value. I have had many offers from Amish on him but have turned them down.
