Looks like a late 356 engine with weber carbs to me and I have a 356.

Hey what kind of linkage is that? i have a 2110 with 44 idf webers in my 1951 beetle and would love to run a reverse linkage setup like that.

i have a friend who looking to buy a 74 vw bug with a 1.8 365 how can i tell if it's the real deal what block number did Porsche use and how can i tell what size it really is thanks

@maxz0301 it was an aircooled flat 4 and sizes ranged from 1 liter to 1,5 liter.
This engine was first produced in 1948, so no wonder its small.
