It's gasping for air, since the brain is intact, like you said Roxie, but with no lungs it can't breathe or gain any air into the brain. Also, since a snake is only a long spine basically, it can still move around, kinda' like if your arm was amputated but you can still fight and run around. Funny how the body works.

@Roxie568 It is aware that it has been beheaded as its brain is still intact. But how long will it take for the head to die?

@WRMS1223 I in a way agree with you. That poor unfortunate soul must have made a BIIG mistake attacking them or the jewels of their lives. This may have been the work of one of those small model guillotines or an axe.
