@mediadude4God and yet not only did Delima not get a show, he actually had to file for unemployment.....shows how popular he was...
-
@Moonshine97 I guess that's why his show was so popular that it is not on anymore.

@jmayon Nothing wrong with being proud of where you come from. And another thing. Being local is not a race, but a culture with many races (including white people). Being Haolified refers to those who do not take the time to respect the local culture or sell out by not being themselves.

Of KGMB-TV's testiment to it's locally produced specials in the 1980s,when it
was under ownership to Lee Enterprises, the Andy Bumatai comedy specials
were extremely superior,,as was Rap Reiplinger's "RAP'S HAWAII" in 1981.
but Bumatai hit pay dirt with "ALL IN THE OHANA" in 1980,,one of his Best
locally made specials to date! as for the comment about Bumatai being too
"Haoulefied",, the man became mature and grew-up! not everyone in the
islands can remain a "Moke" forever.

@mediadude4God Naw I disagree.....if he ever made it to level of being known in Comedy Central then yea but i grew as a kid listening to his jokes but moved to the mainland only listening to so much. So obivously he stayed popualr here in Hawaii but he still the same guy just he decide to move whatever direction he felt was right for him. In the end u're going to use ur fame as an advantage.....
