The United Friends and Family Campaign march from Trafalgar Square to 10 Downing Street in London to protest against police harassment, violence and deaths in police custody.
At 10 Downing Street, the peaceful campaign was confronted with police, who used brute force to push demonstrators out of the road and move those who staged a sit down protest in the middle of Whitehall.
The police later drafted in 100+ extra officers who unsuccessfully attempted to kettle the protesters.

The time for JUSTICE is now, the world is aware of police brutality in Britain, it's hypocritical for the government in Britain to talk about civil rights in other countries when it can't afford the same right's for it's own citizens in particular those of color..

@mronelove this is a very good point and one we have been making for many years through our work in FRFI.
It should be noted that the techniques used by the British military in Ireland over the decades of occupation and terrorism by the British state can and will be used on citizens at home if they dare show solidarity with that struggle against racism and imperialism.
Lets also remember that Britain violates civil rights abroad too, in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Ireland.
