my sos was born with gastrochisis, i didn't know anything until he was born, i deliver him at UCSF one of the best hospital he was born at 35 weeks only weight 3lbs he has surgery immediality and also had a colon repair but he is okay having some stomach problem most of the time but we are fighting for him everyday.

@hjalmer76 Hello im the mother, I just made another youtube account. The hole around my sons intestines closed up cutting off circulation therefore killing them and him. but it is very rare and im sure your baby will be fine. The U of Utah is THE BEST Hospital for gastroskieses.

Im sry for the loss of ur baby boy.. I found out 2 days ago my baby boy landon has gastroschisis and will have to have surgery as soon as he is born.. Im scared to death.. And I was woundering if u could tell me how he passed if u dont mind im sry to ask but I heard its a 90% chance he will b fine but ive seen a few who didnt make it..

You should get in contact with avery's angels on facebook!! They are a support group for gastroschisis families and Meghan's son "Avery" also passed away from this.. I'm so sorry for your loss.. I could never imagine your hurt. He is just beautiful!!

So sorry for your loss, my son was born with gastroschisis also and he is now 8 months.
But he was in the hospital for a bit more than a month, it was heartbreaking to see him hooked up to so many machines and not be able to hold him. God bless your sons soul, he is now a beautiful angel :)
