M:Well I guess if anyone wants to say goodbye they should do it now.
Thomas and David went up together.
T:Hey little man.
D:Hey Alex.
T:(crying)You weren't supposed to leave us.Whats going to happen with the band.There is no other drummer for our band.
D:Yeah and speaking of the band,we're going to have to change the band name.
T:Yeah.To the Naked Brother Band.
Thomas and david laugh a hollow laugh.
D:It doesn't have the same ring to it.
T:No it doesn't.
They stay quiet for a minute.
T:Man I'm going to miss you.
D:Me too.
T:Bye little man.
D:Bye Alex.
They left the room.
Qaasim went up next.
Q:Hey little drumme dude.Why do you have to leave me man?Who is going to help me fight the battle of curly vs. Straight.Speaking of straight hair,remember the time you tried to go straight to impress Juanita.Then all along she liked your hair how it was. (he laughed)Oh and the one time you were mad at Thomas and David so you switched the hair goo Jesse was using on their hair with Ice hot vapor rub.Man that was funny.They were running around the house trying to get their head to stop burning.(he lughed again)Man you pulled the funniest stuff.I don't think I will meet anyone as funny as you.(tears stung his eyes)I can't go on or I'm going to cry.Bye little dude.
He left too.
No one else got up.
M:Rosalina do you want say goodbye?
Rosalina nodded.She got up and walked over to Alex.
R:I d-don't think I-I can say m-much but b-bye Alex.You were the c-closest thing I h-had to a b-brother.I'm
g-going to m-miss you.(She kissed his cheek and for a brief moment she thought he smiled)Bye.
She walked back over to Nat.
Michael glanced at Nat who was still crying on the floor.Then he walked up to Alex.
M:Hey son.I can't really say how much I love you,but I want you to know I love you a whole lot and I'm going to miss you.I'm really going to miss that stupid little phrase you had.What was it again,oh yeah "poopoo sauce".That got on my nerves so bad.But I'm going to miss it.(he kissed Alex on the forehead)Bye son.
He walked over to Nat and Rosalina.
M:Do you want to say goodbye,Nat?
N:(shrugged)
m:Me and Rosalina will leave if yo want us to.
N:(shrugged again)
M:(sighed)Come on Rosalina.
R:Ok.
They left Nat alone.
