This video demonstrates how to remove Google's extra list entry named "goog" from their AVI files with a hexeditor, so that the video files can be played in Windows Media Player.

It is assumed that a DivX video decoder is installed.

  • For this How-To it is presumed that a DivX decoder is installed. Otherwise WMP cannot render the video stream.
