A note on the "zomg Etho did this first!" comments:

First off - the notion that myself, Etho, SethBling, or anyone else should watch literally hundreds of thousands of Minecraft videos and search through just as many forum posts before making something is just silly. It is likely that most "new" Minecraft creations have already been made by someone before, only that person didn't share their creation with the community.

I think Etho is really awesome, but I've only watched a few of his videos. He makes great videos and is brilliant with redstone, but I try not to watch redstone and mechanics tutorials, because one of the main sources of fun for me is to come up with ideas on my own. Being shown how to do something takes the fun out of inventing traps and mechanisms with your own designs. Of course, anything in Minecraft has probably already been done before by people who don't make videos or share their designs and discoveries with the community.

I think its good that you guys are looking out for Etho, but some of the comments I have seen have gone way too far. And Etho agrees. I talked with him about this, and he doesn't mind me putting up this video of my design at all. I had no idea he made something similar before me, and while we think he was probably the first person to do this type of enchanting thing, we cannot know for sure. We are both reluctant to claim "first", because we have no way to be 100% sure either of us was the first person in the world to come up with an idea.

One last thing I would like to mention, is that I do come up with a lot of designs on my own, only I don't make tutorials on them. Instead, I keep them a secret, and cackle with glee when people "discover" them while playing my maps. There have been several times where I have seen a person say "Oh, Vechs used [name]'s design on this map" when actually it is my own design that I had been saving in secret for months to use on a new map. That can be sort of aggravating. :(

Yes, please. I'll be going straight for the pistons and modulating the enchanting with torches. Was just extracting the pistons from the mob bombers in Infernal Sky II's Grand Armada today. A much more instructive Etho video than the enchanting station was his recent use of pistons to push glowstone into the nasty parts of Fluffy Bunnies of Joy...
