You guys do realize that the car did not just lose control and crash right? The rear tire exploded, put your hate for the corvette aside and look at the puff of smoke coming from the rear tire just before he loses control. He got a faulty tire.

As for the “should have bought a supercar” people. This plastic car costs less and would annihilate any supercar on the market. I would rather buy a house than an overpriced car with baby seal leather.

They eventually figured out that the blinker fluid started leaking causing a rear tire to spin.

wheels weren't engineered for that much stress/speed. Wheel ripped right off the car @ the hub. I am so glad the driver walked away though.  Thats a scary crash.

I was sad she put the camera down as soon as the wreck happened, glad to see someone else had a full recording of it, could have been a looooot worse. glad to hear the driver walked away! hopefully you guys learned some things from this build and will have an even faster one soon ;)
