FANS throw trash on WRIGLEY FIELD after PINIELLA EJECTION 7/26/08 Cubs vs Marlins

Please watch 1 of 2 first. On Clip 1, Mark DeRosa was called out on a close play, and then first base coach Matt Sinatro and manager Lou Piniella came out and were ejected.

When you heard the crowd suddenly cheer toward the end of Piniella's confrontation, what I didn't know was that the outfield bleacher fans started throwing trash all over the field. Then they had to send a bunch of workers out to clean it up.

There is probably only 10 seconds between that clip and this one. As soon as I realized what was going on in the outfield, I turned the camera back on. Here it is.

So far only 8 - St.Louis, Both Chicagos, Milwaukee, Cleveland, Boston, NY Mets, and Pittsburgh.

I am leaving for my 2008 trip this week - I'll be at Camden Yards in Baltimore on 8/25 (White Sox/Orioles), Nationals Park in DC 8/26 (Nats/Dodgers, Citizens Bank Park in Philly 8/27 (Phillies/Mets), and Yankee stadium on 8/28 for Red Sox/Yankees.

hmm, ive been to the now extinct kingdome (sea), memorial stadium (bal), the vet (phi)... rfk when it was briefly used for the nat's... as well as safeco, camden yards, citizens bank, yankee, shea, wrigley and us cell.

i think that's it... hope to add more to my list soon.

Kingdome? I'm jelous. I grew up a huge Mariners fan. I was 10 in 1995 when they had Griffey (my hero), Randy Johnson, Edgar Martinez, Jay Buhner... Although the pics look like an aweful place to see a game, it was home to my favorite team as a kid. That's cook that you have been to them parks, keep it going. I've got 18 to go.

Yeah this is just embarrassing to cubs fans, its bad sportsmanship to throw garbage on an away team field, but to throw it on your own field? thats just disrespectful to the players, but what do I care, I'm a White Sox fan

Cub fans are just classless. I mean, they hold this dilapidated ballpark up as "historic" (even though they've never actually won a World Series there), then the drunk cub fans throw LITTER on it?!! A Sox fan would never dream about disrespecting our state-of-the-art baseball complex like that. It is hallowed ground.
