@chroNick546 well, how's it any different when US remake a Japanese film, hello, The Ring, The Grudge, Dark Water. US already has remake many Japanese film. Don't you think US should give back to Japan for remaking their film. Beside, fair is fair. I wouldn't mind if Japan remake The Godfather with Sonny Chiba with Vito Corleone.

Is it me or does the relationship with the two friends look a bit homoerotic in this version? I love the original though, and I'd love to find a japanese version with english subtitles.

What a garbage film remake. It's an insult to Sideways and Alexander Payne and the writer. And I'm half Japanese so I have a right to say this.
