i only use this gun to hunt tanks like the M1A3. just putting that out there.
-
lol what you need that for? to hunt elephants?
-
That's like overkill to the extreme. Blow off a freaking elephants head, jesus christ.
-
Right then, thanks. It's been nice chatting with you all. By the way, I still think the this gun should have more uses than hunting elephants.

I would recommend anything that you can shoot accurately. There is debate as to a 9 mm's combat effectiveness, but I know I would not want to stand in front of one. The Beretta 92 is a well made pistol that is very accurate. For someone with small hands, they might pose a problem though.
-
I see. Makes sense then. Would you recommed a Beretta 92F as a sidearm? I see many high-caliber revolvers and handguns that may be useful, but huge amounts of recoil just take away from overall effectiveness.

Well being a professional gunsmith I have a more informed perspective than most on subjects concerning firearms. At any rate, what is plausible for LE? While I personally carry a 10 mm, many of the local police who are customers of mine swear by their .40 S&W's, some still like their 9 mm's. I also think the .45 ACP and the .41 Rem. Mag. is well suited to LE. Overall its up to personal preference and what you can shoot accurately under stress.

I doubt you'd believe this, but it was a written account from a police officer in teh states (forgot the site, so should this might sound like a lie). So, Mr. Person-who-is-19-years-older-t
han-me, where did you get your information from (I did some more research and and think yeah your kinda on the mark, mostly for sporting)? And while we are on the topic, what firearm do you think would be plausible for law enforcement, since you're so insistent that this is no gun for law enforcement. -
What police force uses the 500 Magnum? Where are you getting YOUR information from? It seems that you must have "hard evidence" of this if you claim it.

Still though, as for sporting, this gun wouldn't be half bad for hunting elephants. I believe that your are right in a sense, but I just don't believe this gun is strictly for sporting. Like I said before, feel free to prove me wrong.
look at the recoil on that thing, this is the primary reason the army and police dont use them, sooner or later you strin your wrist
