  • Come on guys! Every Equestrian sport can be cruel and horses can die. Yes there are some stupid ass people who do abuse there horses. But just because you saw some retarded video of someone doing that doesn't mean everyone does. so stf up and get over it!!!!!!Stop acting like you know everything when you don't If you don't do the sport then you most likely don't now the half of it.

  • Bucking stock is treated better than some house pets. IT isn't cruelty.

  • @MyHorseILove Dressage is terrible for a horses neck and mouth its an unnatural position if anything those english riders need the spotlight aimed at them not us plus most of them see their horses as a big dollar bill sign nothing else rodeoers love our horse yeah we need them to win but we realize that and appreciate it so we take care of them

  • Barrel racing in NOT cruel!! lol i love how you retards think it is. EVERYONE of my friends barrel race and their horses are AWESOME! lol shut up. You obviously dont know the first thing about barrel racing or rodeo. Yeah, i dont like the calf roping where they pull their neck. but its not cruelty. Dressage, and jumping and cross country is more cruel than this! Have you english people noticed how tight the bit is in your horses mouth and how much you pull on their mouth??? Think before you post

  • @IHateHorseSlaughter1 Ehh... what? Rodeo is full of pleasure and competition. These horses are trained to buck. Just because it isn't as relaxed as say Dressage, does not mean it isn't a sport. It's a lot more natural then riding a horse normally in some ways. An unbroken horse's first reaction to having a rider on their back is to buck. I fail to see how Rodeo ruins equestrianism. It's just equestrian sports in its roughest form. And it's far more rough to the riders than the horses.

  • @KaliJumping Actually they aren't. These horses love what they do. You just know nothing about the sport. The horses are all trained to do this.

  • this makes me want to cry THEY ARE HURTING THEM ARRRHHH

  • evidently there are a shitload of posers on here. just to clarify the flank strap does not go around the horses genitals. it goes around its flank, hence the name. It is not tight enough to hurt the animal. IN fact the flank strap actually has to be loose enough that the horse (or bull) thinks that it can kick it off, hence the bucking. Many times to remove it all it takes is a quick flick of the cinch and the strap falls off. Shockin and kickin animals at rodeos are the exception, not the rule

  • Rodeos are a disgrace to the equestrian world.Horse riding is meant to be full of pleasure and competition. But some people just ruin it all,

  • THIS has NOTHING to do with WESTERN riding!!

  • actually the put ropes around the horses flank and that makes them buck. of-course its cruel. and guess what,

did you know that horse racing is cruel too because some horse racing owner don't usually cool them off when they sweat . and horses that barrel race get sick every year and die,i should know, i had 6 horses one was a barrel racer named Cherokee and died because of not having strength and when we got her see was sore for about 6-7 years and we had to put her down.stop horse abuse please!

  • i've never had training nor have i been taught anything. i ride bareback on a 17 yr old arabian mare. with a halter and lead rope, a half blind qurter horse around barrels... natrual horsemanship? you could say, but guess what? i ride western. and i dont treat my horses like this. were not all like this.......damn sterotypes.
