@Drspeedstackingguy its because the grey peice is a differental. so it moves when under
preasure. all he did was converted that force to that large lever to shift gears.

i am still so confused, is it that the grey part near the end connects the gear with the wheel.( but doesnt move) but if the wheel is slowed, the moving gears behind it, turn it ( the grey piece) in a way to change gears? plz reply !!!!!!!
