u need to realize objectively why you are in a psychotic state....... in other words u you need to really try to understand the root of your hallucinations when you are not actually hallucinating...and are in a normal state..a tall task, but i do not think this is impossible and i assume a psychiatrist, probably disagrees and takes the evidence of hallucinations as proof that you can never re enter that normal state

I was worrying about that - how much do you tell a psychiatrist about suicidal thoughts etc...cleared that up for me, thanks. Although I'm sure it depends on the doctor.
