History makes it worse when a white person says the N word, there is history for us to face. I am ashamed of American history as it relates to Black Americans, American Indians and other ethnic groups like the Chinese that built our railroads in the early 20th century.. Bringing it out in the open is good...I love your videos...go girl

I used to just kind of let it slide when someone made a racial joke but now I call it out every time. And I don't care if it makes me "Angry Black Woman." There's no reason I should have to pretend I'm okay with racism. I don't think Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton are as bad as you say. They're some of the few people still willing to denounce racism and look how they're treated. But they should be applauded for still having some balls in a society of black people who would rather placate racists.

B4 I start, I just want to let you know that I share all your thoughts (and frustration) about racism and I believe you are brave to speak about it openly.
On the other hand, I have learned that 'sulking and crying' changes nothing at the end of the day. My advice to anyone who finds themselves down in the dumps over the race issue is:
1) Be a part of the solution, not the problem.
2) The best revenge is living well and
3) Be the change you want to see in the world (Ghandi)

I don't know just how you are feeling or understand your questions on society treating your race. Race jokes aren't funny.
However, I do understand that similar pain. I hated my body as a child. I've been obese for years, a real health hazard and social disgrace.
I understand that desire to change so radically to fit in, that pain leaves a great scar that only some people can get, and lesser people can understand and handle.
As embarrassed I am to say, I think you are beautiful as you are smart.

I honestly understand what you feel about insecuritues on ur race. I wanted to dye my skin black when I was younger because I was so akward, and then I look at my black or Latino friends, and everyone seemed to love them. When you're white, you have to do deal with white guilt, being accused of racism for saying THE WORD black, and a whole shitload of stereotypes.

i completely understand what you're saying Melinda.

@strangereveryday I didn't know that it was your brother. I understand that it is a sensitive topic, but if we use those names we bring up a can of worms that we don't need to have :)
You,young lady are one of my IDOLS and one of the best people I've ever met on the Internet.I'm a Caucasian girl myself, but the moment I watched your first video I loved you and your educated opinions.I didn't saw a race, but a smart, strong, opinianated young lady. And i thought to myself:"I wish I was more like her."You are an inspiration to me and I trust your opinion on silly nerdy stuff, like comics and anime withought questioning. You are amazing.Just be yourselve and keep rocking!

@KikyoChanXD I understand what you mean. White people can be victims of racisim as can anyone else. Thinking otherwise is foolish
