Gracie, a 7-month-old orphaned river otter, took her first swim lesson in deep water on Thursday, July 15 in the otter exhibit at The Florida Aquarium. River otters aren't born swimmers and need to be taught by their mothers. Since Gracie is an orphan, she receives her swim lessons from Florida Aquarium biologists.
