The Turbo Esprit, being the white won that explodes and the Mars red one with skis in the film 'For Your Eyes Only', were the original Turbo Esprit, designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro. The cars in the Miami Vice I'm not sure about. Have you a link? Perhaps it's the change of wheels that gives this impression of looking lower.. The original cars (very early versions ESSEX type), used Compomotive wheels. Then Lotus had to cut the price on the cars, changing many things including the wheels for BBS

Hi, first of all congratulations for your beautiful,legendary and rare car. It's my exotic dream classic and I have a question about it: in some movies I saw the Esprit Turbo with a very lowered set up suspension (007 for your eyes only, both white and copper one) and in others (miami vice, a couple of episodes) with a less attractive higher setup. Wich one was standard on the Turbo Esprit?
