  • Can you take your own computer using this webcam? I have a Dell Studio 15 with Dell Webcam central that allows you to take your own computer with share desktop mode.

  • @wikipedian7 no desktop record with the logitech software. there might be third party software out there that would let you do that though.

  • I have the same webcam, and I'm wondering how did you upload it on HD? everytime i try to upload something.. the quality is horrible!

    thanks!

  • @MiiSzSTEPH it looks like youre rendering your videos in the wrong format. based on all the videos i looked at on your page, i dont think youre rendering the raw HD files as HD after youve edited them. youd have to find a tutorial for your editing software to do this correctly.

  • can you record video games with that?

  • I don't know if I believe that this camera only gets 15 fps in 720p, but you seem credible and trustworthy. However, I have heard this for 1080p, but never for 720p. I've seen other reviews where people claim that they get between 24-29 fps on 720p. Do you have any idea on what can account for the variation in fps?

  • @nukem384 Strange but my laptop's Dell Webcam Central was able to take video of my desktop.

  • 15 frames per second in 1080p and 720p?

    I'm out.

  • Thanks, this was really useful

  • @FatalBunghole

    Duhh..

  • I was looking at buying this webcam, but I can't find its field of view anywhere, It looks like its wide angle but there are no specs to be found. Would you mind playing with yours and giving me a field of view for it? or the width and height of the field of view at 1' from the camera would be just as good.

  • @nukem384 well if you wanted to do voice over, you can use whatever mic you want and then put the video and audio together in any editing software you want. i use sony vegas pro 10 on my PC, if you have a mac, imovie will work, for final cut express/pro are great softwares as well.
