it would be fair if sallie mae didn't pay colleges to keep the prices up. Sallie mae is probably the most evil company on the planet. so my question is: why in a country full of guns, does no-one go out find these people and send them to hell?

here is what i did to avoid all student loan debt. I got my first job when i was 15, and when i graduated highschool i did not rush straight into college. I waited two years and carried 2 full time jobs. I am now in my last semester of college and still work a full time job. it is very hard but its worth it. i made the deans list too. i paid for my education and living expenses by myself without any help from anyone not even my parents. so yeah...I DONT OWE ANYONE MONEY! @locknes2008 Nothing is more uncommon than common sense. The old way of financing college is so weird to todays culture yet it is uncommonly the smartest advice. Work to pay for college.
