Jonathan Coulton When You Go - Glasgow 2008 - Live and FIXED

Here is an edit of my footage of When You Go from the Glasgow show, I've played with the audio to make a SEAMLESS transition so that no hint of the mistakes and interruptions are there. I've also added some spot effects, adding 'mood slides' as only putting in one to cover the jump in video for the audio cut would have looked too odd! Comments appreciated!

I can understand that. But in that "screw up", was a JoCo memory. Plus, you should feel honored, not guilty: he was willing to please you, a random fan he hadn't yet met, by playing a song at which he was admittedly uner 100%. That's devotion to his fans that mirrors our devotion to him, and that's something to admire.

This and the original are both great. I don't care much for the album acapella version and ache with the overall emotion of the song. Both are amazing, thanks to you for this and the original and thanks to JoCo for doing it.

i saw the untouched video, and just like every other time he messes up it's either on purpose or he makes hilarious jokes about it. it's way better than slides, that's what makes him even more awesome :D

These, dear, DEAR RectalDiscourse (!) were inserted to cover the screwup JoCo made during the song. If you check the original untouched video you will see there are a LOT of times he messed it up. I edited the sound, and put the slides in to cover them... Ta-Da!
