Phil Purser's turbocharged VL Calais - 23.12.2007

Phil Purser's awesome "V HELL" 2JZ powered 6-cylinder turbocharged VL Calais was out playing at the December 23 test and tune day at the Perth Motorplex.

The car had some wild runs on its way to producing two personal best times for the team recording both 9.11 and 9.13 second times for the quarter mile.

Ed note: When I showed this video to my Wife, she said that it sounds like an aeroplane taking off! I must admit, give the thing a propeller and some wings, and it probably would take off! Great stuff Phil, well done.
