@Change6609 Greece has always protected the european borders from the barbarians..

Untill now we have to protect our borders because there is no a European army that will protect every european border of the Union.Greek people will love to have neighbors like Denmark, Belgium or Sweeden as Germany and Uk have..unfortunately our neighbors are some barbarians from Asia and Moggolia, thats why we need our navy to be that strong. Also the Greek navy has the longest history and never lost a battle.

My country the netherlands may not be perfect, but is well run. The days of profits from colonies are over since 50 decades. Nowadays, both our former colonies and other 3rd world countries become hundreds of millions euro's yearly for help. Besides, when our colonies became independent, we left them in very good (economical and societal) order. Our country is pretty liberal and market-oriented: we try to have not too may rules.
