The government and big business have persued a policy of keeping wages low in NZ and outsourcing the manufacture of goods.

As a result many New Zealanders have left as will many recent migrants. To be fair some of these migrants would have had that intention anyway. So while we are all bellowing at each other as to the virtues of our respective cultures, the real criminals walk free and are largely ignored.

We live in sad and frustrating times.
