Many English language students ask me 'What are the rules of intonation?' and my answer is always that there are NO rules.

    That would be the American spelling. I am from the UK so PRACTICE is correct when using the British spelling.

    Thank you for your reply, but you are incorrect .

    You've written 'choose, read, practice,record', so it's a verb: 'practise'. The noun is 'practice'.

  • i think that intonation is the silliest thing in English language, coz i can stress any word i want i any sentence i utter .There is a proverb in my language which says "if u want to know the meaning of a poem look for it inside the poet's head "
